法要に向かう僧侶
毎月の二十日、太猷院廟の家光公の御回向と徳川家代々の法要が行なわれる。
この日も、巨杉に囲まれた石段を、法要に向かう僧侶の一群が登っていった。
法衣の紫と緋は、自然の色にとけこみ、蝉の声に絹ずれの音が和す。

Monks Going to Memorial Buddhist Serveice
On the 20th every month, the Memorial Buddhist Serveice is held
for Iemitsu (the 3rd Shogun, 1604-1651) in Taiyu-in, which was dedicated
to him as well as to the Iemitsu Tokugawa. monks are going to the Memorial
Service in a summer day.
